Chicken, Bacon, & Ranch Flavor Bomb Pasta

There aren’t many combinations that are as time tested as bacon and ranch.

I decided to throw together a pasta dish one evening with the bacon and ranch combination and then add some chicken because we have to make sure we hit our daily protein intake right?

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Pasta of choice - I used angel hair.

  • 2 - 4 servings Bolthouse Farms classic ranch dressing - If you have more fat macros feel free to use a full fat variant. I used 2 servings of Bolthouse Farms ranch

  • 1 serving Oscar Myer bacon bits

  • 1 Serving Your favorite shredded cheese - I used sharp cheddar

  • 1 serving of frozen broccoli

  • 4 oz chicken breast

Directions

  1. Measure out ingredients. Defrost the broccoli in the microwave. Cut up chicken into bite size pieces.

  1. Fill sauce pan with water and place on stove top until it comes to a boil. Once water is boiling add pasta. Once pasta is tender to touch remove and strain.

  2. Add your cooked pasta back into the sauce pan. Begin adding all of your ingredients in with the pasta. Stir until all ingredients are well coated with the ranch dressing.

  3. Season to taste with a little salt and pepper.

  4. Plate and enjoy

Modifications

  • Want to cut the carbs down some? Pasta can be swapped out for a vegetable noodle or do half regular pasta and half vegetable noodle

  • Want to cut the fat down? Use a low/fat free cheese, half a serving of full fat cheese, or half a serving full fat and half a serving of low/fat free cheese.
